Prevent Frozen Fuel Lines This Winter

It is always wise to keep your gas tank full rather than let to reach empty before filling it up again. If you do that you are much more likely to have car trouble. The reason is that the more air that you have in your gas tank (due to the lack of gas) you are going to also have more condensation.

Condensation is bad to have in your gas tank because it will eventually make its way to your fuel lines and if it gets cold, it will freeze. If it freezes then the gas in your tank will not be able to get to your engine, and your car will not start. You are also more likely to get a clogged fuel filter with an empty tank since dirt can clog it up.
